Mass. game maker filling 50 jobs at RI job fair

The creator of Dungeons & Dragons Online and Asheron's Call Turbine Inc. is looking to fill more slots at its Needham, Mass., studio through a job fair slated Tuesday in Providence, MassHighTech.com reports.

Turbine, which has approximately 500 employees, is hosting the job fair at Aspire restaurant in Providence. Most of the jobs are for full-time positions, and openings range from software engineers to video editors.

Turbine, which was acquired by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group in April 2010, said it plans to fill "key roles" across the company.

Founded in 1994, Turbine is behind several popular Internet gaming worlds, including Dungeons & Dragons Online, Eberron Unlimited and The Lord of the Rings Online.
