Underwriters raise $19,000 for charitable causes

The Connecticut Chapter of the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters Society raised $19,000 at its annual golf tournament at Wampanog Country Club in West Hartford. The society, which includes more than 22,000 who hold the chartered property casualty underwriter designation, awards a number of scholarships and supports charitable activities.
