The Connecticut Airport Authority has approved the preliminary application of North Granby's Merchandising Partners, which would be the fourth business to join the Bradley Airport Development Zone, The Manchester Journal Inquirer reports.

Merchandising Partners, a designer of consumer packaging and maker of point-of-purchase displays, will qualify for the zone's tax incentives — including a 10-year corporate business tax credit — because it is growing its operation in one of the zone's four towns, East Granby, Suffield, Windsor, and Windsor Locks, JI.com reports on its homepage.

The company is moving into a vacant 15,600-square-foot area in half of a building at 21 Kenny Roberts Memorial Drive in the Mach One industrial park in Suffield. The firm's customers include big-box retailers, club stores, and many national brand chains.
