SS&C Technologies Holdings Inc. again boosted its financial software and services operation, this time buying Gravity Financial, a Massachusetts full-service fund administrator.
SS&C didn't say Friday what it paid for Gravity, based in Canton, Mass.
It did say, however, the deal brings 40 fund-services clients and 10 employees to SS&C, including certified public accountant Kirby Richards, who founded Gravity, and fellow partner, CPA Paul Timmins.
Gravity's business will operate under the SS&C GlobeOp umbrella. SS&C acquired GlobeOp, the former British fund-administration services giant, earlier this year.
