Connecticut is next to last among dog-friendly states, about the same doghouse it was in five years earlier, an updated pet ranking shows.
The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) has released its U.S. Pet Ownership & Demographics Sourcebook, which revealed that Connecticut ranks 49th for pet ownership with 28.3 percent of households owning a dog.
