This one-day event will bring together exhibitors and attendees from across the state. The Business Showcase will offer attendees the opportunity to discover the wide range of businesses in Greater Fairfield and New Haven counties and attend professional development workshops. Family businesses are an integral part of the social and business fabric of Connecticut. These awards recognize outstanding achievements in the past year by family-owned businesses, and the event is an excellent networking opportunity and learning experience telling the story of the state’s most successful firms. To be eligible for the awards, a business must be based in Connecticut, be family-owned, and have at least two family members working full-time (husband and wife, mother and daughter, grandfather and grandson, etc.)

Join us for the Executive Kick-off Breakfast prior to the 2012 Business Showcase. With over 200 executives from Fairfield and New Haven Counties expected this breakfast is a great way to start the day. Breakfast will kick-off with opening words from Jim Smith, President and CEO of Webster Bank, followed by the morning keynote speaker, Dr. Thomas Lynch, the Director of the Yale Cancer Center and the Physician-in-Chief at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven.
