A New Jersey information technology vendor signed a $1 million sponsorship for the hockey arena at Quinnipiac University's hilltop sports complex for the next five seasons.
High Point Solutions of Sparta, N.J., becomes the third sponsor inside the Hamden university's sports facility.
The entire facility is named the TD Bank Sports Center, in recognition of that lead financial sponsor. In addition, the adjoining basketball court is Lender Court, named after long-time supporters of the university.
Quinnipiac on Wednesday declined to divulge financial terms of the sponsorship for TD Bank or Marvin and Murray Lender.
The High Point Solutions Arena will host the men's and women's NCAA Division I hockey teams. The facility sits atop Quinnipiac's York Hill campus.
"Helping a thriving university like Quinnipiac continue its unparalleled ascent, while linking our name to such a state-of-the-art ice hockey facility is truly a win-win for both of our organizations. We are excited about this corporate partnerships," said High Point Solutions co-founder Tom Mendiburu said in a statement.
