Connecticut sports media giant ESPN will open new radio facilities on June 1 at its Bristol headquarters.
The state-of-the-art Audio Ave. facilities are customized and feature talk studios, dedicated control rooms and SportsCenter booths.
The facility will host 13 ESPN Radio affiliates and four other owned-and-operated stations from around the nation on June 1 to commemorate the opening. The owned-and-operated stations are in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Dallas.
"ESPN Radio consumers are no longer simply radio listeners," says Mo Davenport, senior vice president & general manager for ESPN Radio Network, in a press release. "The June 1 festivities will celebrate our commitment to ensure that fans not only get their ESPN Radio content how they want it, but also when they want it, and where they want it."
