Irving Oil launches gas rewards program

New Hampshire gasoline company Irving Oil launched a rewards program on Wednesday for regular customers to receive 1 percent off the cost of fueling their cars, including at stations in Connecticut.

For every $200 spent by Irving Rewards cardholders, the company will give 10 cents off per gallon at the customer's next fill-up. For a customer filling up a 20-gallon tank of gas, the savings equal $2.

The promotion is good at all 289 Irving locations in Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Customers who register their cards online are eligible for one of six prizes of free gas for a year or one of 100 gift cards of $100.

The promotion expires Aug. 31, and customers have 30 days to redeem their rewards from when they are earned.
