Pitney Bowes teams with Adobe on digital service

Stamford mail service provider Pitney Bowes Inc. on Tuesday teamed with Adobe Systems Inc. to provide a new specialized secure digital delivery service.

The two companies will put out the Volly system, which allows international posts and banks to create their own branded digital delivery. Volly also allows consumer to control the how, when and where of their digital mail communications.

Adobe's digital marketing suite technology will be the key component of the Pitney system, as it allows for personalization and customization.

Volly is a cloud-based communications platform, providing services such as online bill pay.
