UConn Law School Dean Paul steps down

UConn Law School Dean Jeremy Paul announced Monday that he will step down from his position next year.

Paul was named UConn's dean in 2007 and his five-year contract is about to expire. Paul said in an email to faculty Monday that he is not seeking a second term and will instead return to his faculty position where he teaches constitutional law, property, and jurisprudence.

UConn Provost Peter Nicholls said the school will begin a national search in the fall for Paul's replacement.
