ECSU to host Green Campus Conference

Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic will host its Green Campus Conference in honor of the 10th anniversary of its Institute for Sustainable Energy.

At the April 19 conference, energy experts will speak on issues about financing green campus projects and the latest energy technology.

Speakers include Dan Esty, commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection; ECSU President Elsa Nunez; Robert Kennedy, president of the Board of Regents of Higher Education for Connecticut State Colleges and Universities; and Nancy Tinker, ECSU director of facilities management and planning at Eastern.

ECSU will provide tours of its LEED designed facilities, building automated systems and 400 kilowatt fuel cell.
