Regional efficiency group to feature NU executive

The Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships announced today that an executive from Hartford-based Northeast Utilities will co-chair the organization's annual event.

David McHale, NU's senior vice president and chief administrative officer, will co-chair the Northeast Energy Efficiency Summit with Barbara Kates-Garnick, Massachusetts undersecretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs.

The focus of this year's summit will be The Business Case for Efficiency, highlighting how industry and government officials use energy efficiency to create jobs and decrease energy costs while reducing carbon footprint.

The summit will be held June 13-14 at the Hilton Stamford Hotel in Connecticut.
