CT shed jobs in March, yet jobless rate fell again

Connecticut lost 2,700 jobs in March - unusual for this time in the labor season - yet the state's unemployment rate eased to 7.7 percent, labor regulators said Thursday.

State unemployment was 7.8 percent in February.
