CT's Rockville Bank to ring Nasdaq closed Tue.

The parent of Vernon's Rockville Bank has been invited to ring Nasdaq's closing bell Tuesday to celebrate the lender's first anniversary as a fully public company.

Rockville Financial Chairman and CEO Bill Crawford IV, his lieutenants and members of the bank's board will visit Nasdaq's Times Square broadcast studio to ring the 4 p.m. electronic closing bell.

Rockville Financial officially became a fully publicly traded company on April 24, 2011.
