New Haven EDC's CEO Gatling enrolled in MIT

Anne Gatling, chief executive of the Economic Development Corporation of New Haven, is leaving the organization in mid-May to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Gatling's last day is May 18. She is entering MIT's 12-month Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation and Global Leadership.

EDC Vice Chairman Kelly Murphy, New Haven's economic development administrator, will run the agency on an interim basis until a replacement is found.

Nonprofit EDC works with public and private partners to create a vibrant business environment and assist business and industry to grow, to relocate to, remain in, and establish their facilities in New Haven.
