Two attorneys in the Hartford office of Jackson Lewis — David R. Golder and Alison Jacobs Wise — have been elevated to partner status. Wise joined Jackson Lewis in 2003 from Cummings & Lockwood in Stamford and Golder joined in 2008 from Seyfarth Shaw's Los Angeles office. Both represent management exclusively in workplace law and related advice, counsel, training and litigation.

Shalonta Ford has been promoted to vice president, insurance regional sales specialist in personal lines at TD Insurance in Wethersfield. She joined TD Insurance in 2010 and most recently served as an assistant vice president. Prior to joining TD Insurance, Ford served as a store manager at TD Bank's Highland-Cheshire store. She will continue to serve as a liaison between TD Insurance and TD Bank's retail stores in the Connecticut market. TD Insurance Inc. is a subsidiary of TD Bank, N.A.

Aaron B. Krueger and Ronald Perry have joined the Hartford office of Consigli Construction Co. as project managers. Krueger has been involved in projects at Fairfield University, Trinity College, Deerfield Academy, The Learning Corridor in Hartford, the Town of Killingly, and the Town of Manchester. He is a LEED accredited professional. Perry has worked on projects for Wesleyan University, Waterbury Performing Arts Magnet School, Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and Edwards Angle Palmer and Dodge in Hartford.

Deb Polun has been named director of government affairs and media relations at the Community Health Center Association of Connecticut. She brings 13 years of legislative and policy experience to the job. Most recently, she was the legislative director at the Connecticut Commission on Aging. Polun previously served as a senior policy analyst and special assistant in the State Senate Majority Office, focusing on health and human services issues.

Patricia Bien has joined The Pert Group as senior account director for the beverage vertical in the research and consulting firm's Farmington office. Bien has handled marketing and research activities for adult beverage companies, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical firms and financial companies. Her expertise includes media launch strategies and creative development. Also, Jim Eschrich has joined the firm's Kansas City office as qualitative research director. Eschrich ran his own research business for more than 15 years. He is the author of Courage for the Rest of Us, the story of his experiences on the U.S. National Bobsled Team and as a participant in the famed Running of the Bulls.

Attorney Cristina Lopez has joined the North Haven staff of The Law Offices of Carter Mario Injury Lawyers. She is a litigation attorney within the firm's medical malpractice unit. Lopez handled plaintiff medical malpractice cases at a Hartford-area law office. The firm has offices in Milford, Hartford, New Britain, Waterbury, Bridgeport, and North Haven.

Avid Marketing Group, a marketing communications agency in Rocky Hill, has made a series of management changes. Stephen Hauser joins AMG as Vice President of Business Development. He brings more than 25 years' experience in developing and building brands in the U.S. beverage industry. Renee Apostolidis becomes production manager. Most recently, she was lead art director and production manager for a medical products manufacturing company in Bristol. Laura Greim has been promoted to assistant project manager. And Jeff Dayton comes to AMG from Geezeo On-Line Financial Management where he was an account manager. He will be responsible for developing and managing promotional programs.

Frank Alvarado has joined the Small Business Administration's Connecticut District Office. He was previously the director of the New Haven and Willimantic offices of the Spanish American Merchants Association. He has served on numerous boards and committees advancing housing, education and business development within the Spanish American community of Connecticut and is serving as a member on the Internal Revenue Service Taxpayer Advisory Panel representing the State of Connecticut as an appointment made by the U.S. Treasury Secretary.

Helen M. McKee has joined the Bridgeport Regional Business Council as director of finance. She brings more than 20 years of private sector accounting experience to the Business Council. Also, Benny Palmieri has joined the council as the director of communications. He has experience as a customer service representative.
