Feds OK $6M sewer funding to Pomfret

Pomfret will use $5.9 million in federal funds to link its wastewater system to nearby Killingly, authorities say.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, as part of its USDA Earth Day 2012 Project, approved a $4.4 million loan and $1.5 million grant to extend a sewer line from Pomfret to schools and businesses in Killingly, members of Connecticut's congressional delegation announced.
