Bridgeport's historic Barnum Museum reopens Thursday part-time nearly a year after a tornado damaged the building and three months after closing to the public for ongoing repairs.
The museum at 820 Main St. will initially open Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. while restoration work continues, authorities said.
The historic portion of the museum was damaged when the tornado hit last June 24. The museum has been shut since January for repairs.
