George Riggs has joined Fiondella, Milone & LaSaracina LLP as partner in the Glastonbury accounting firm's assurance and advisory services practice. Riggs, formerly a partner with Deloitte & Touche and most recently with regional firms based in New York City, has more than 30 years of experience in a broad range of audit and management consulting services. The firm also has offices in Bristol and New Haven.

Jesse Wagner has been appointed vice president, quality and patient safety, at Middlesex Hospital. Since January of 2010, Dr. Wagner has been patient safety officer at the Middletown hospital. Prior to that, he served as vice chairman of the department of medicine and chief of hospital medicine. Before coming to Middlesex Hospital, Dr. Wagner was a primary care internist at Lahey Hitchcock Clinic in Nashua, N.H., and an adjunct clinical professor of medicine at Dartmouth Medical School, as well as medical director for two nursing homes in that area.

Debbie Ducoff-Barone has joined Capital Workforce Partners in Hartford as strategic planner. She will lead in the grant writing process. Ducoff-Barone has served as a consultant at the Connecticut Women's Educational and Legal Fund, providing guidance and analysis for the Campaign for a Working Connecticut. Capital Workforce Partners plays a leadership role in that campaign. She also has worked as a policy analyst and program associate for the CT Department of Health. She also is a co-founder and board member for the C.J. Foundation for SIDS.

James R. Harper has been named a director of BlumShapiro. He joins the regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm's West Hartford consulting practice. He is working in the firm's Business Solutions Group, focusing on mid-market/large clients. Harper comes to BlumShapiro from Stanley Black and Decker where he served most recently as North American controller. Prior to that, he worked at URS/Washington Group International as assistant controller. In addition, Harper has held positions at KPMG and Arthur Andersen.

Jade Paunovich has joined Konover Commercial Corp. as property manager. She will be responsible for Konover Commercial's property management contracts for 55 Elm St. and 31-45 Pratt St. in downtown Hartford, as well as several greater Hartford buildings. Paunovich recently returned to the northeast from North Carolina where she held property management as well as leasing and sales positions with NAI Southern Real Estate and Spectrum Properties. Konover Commercial is a subsidiary of The Simon Konover Co. in West Hartford.

Greg Radding has been promoted to manager of production at Norcom Mortgage's retail lending team in Avon. He spent the past year in Norcom's wholesale division as an account manager. He brings more than 25 years' of mortgage lending experience.

ForeSite Technologies has added two employees and promoted two others. Ryan Gulbrandsen joins as a senior web developer. He brings seven years of experience developing web, desktop, and mobile applications. Andrew Peterson joins as a help desk engineer. He has four years of help desk experience. Also Michael McGovern has been promoted to web developer/designer from associate software developer. He joined the company in June of 2010. Jessica Glynn becomes marketing/office manager. She joined ForeSite in September 2011 as the sales/marketing assistant. The East Hartford-based company designs and develops websites and web applications, and provides IT support services.

Shannon M. Sullivan has joined the Girl Scouts of Connecticut as chief development officer. Before joining Girl Scouts of Connecticut, she was director of development for the National Insurance Industry Council and the National Home Furnishings Industry at City of Hope, a comprehensive cancer center in Los Angeles. Prior to that, she worked at the Washington State Department of Ecology as a regional communications manager.

Randi Haney has been promoted to public relations manager at Hoffman Auto Group in East Hartford. Haney formerly served as social media specialist for the entire auto group. Prior to coming to Hoffman, Haney was a public relations intern at Cashman + Katz Integrated Communications. Also, Laura Sears has been named internet marketing specialist at Hoffman Auto Group. Sears has been with the firm three years and was previously a specialist in the company's business development center.

Oscar V. Fornoles has been named director of prospect research at Sacred Heart University. He will be responsible for increasing philanthropic support to the university. He held a similar position at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He also managed and oversaw prospect research at the Children's Hospital Foundation of Washington D.C.; the Children's Hospital Los Angeles Foundation; and California Lutheran University.

Brian Dunnuck has joined TAB Computer Systems in East Hartford as a system engineer. He most recently served as an IT manager and lead network administrator for a client base of over 1,000 users spread across five sites. Also, Rebecca Altomare has joined TAB's sales and marketing team. She brings more than 10 years of business experience. TAB is a full-service IT firm.
