E. Lyme firm unveils secure document vault

While protection for electronic files from hackers and prying eyes gets most attention these days, an East Lyme company is introducing a secure filing cabinet for old-fashioned paper documents.

T Nova says it is introducing to commercial and government clients this spring its document security vault (DSV) that uses a keyless entry system to limit or track access to contracts, employee records, blueprints, financial documents, among other vital papers.

The unit will even limit users to certain days or times of the day when they are allowed access, said T Nova President Lou Tashash.

The DSV is made of heavy duty steel and features an electronic keypad and is available in two-, three- and four-drawer models.
