Hartford health insurer Aetna Inc. and Connecticut Children's Medical Center have reached a new multi-year network contract, the parties say.
Terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
This is the third network-contract renewal Connecticut Children's has signed in the past month. The others were with Connecticare and UnitedHealthcare.
However, the pediatric hospital remains mired in a major contract dispute with Hamden's Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Connecticut.
The hospital's Anthem contract expired last month, forcing Anthem customers into higher, out-of-network rates or choosing a different hospital.
