Alyssa Goduti of Cromwell is the governor's new nonprofit liaison, the state's advocate for nonprofit community providers.
Goduti succeeds Deb Heinrich, who quit in March after two years in the cabinet post created Gov. Dannel P. Malloy.
She starts June 4.
Goduti currently serves as vice president for business development and communications with Community Health Resources.
She also was vice president of public policy with the Connecticut Community Providers Association.
She has a master's in public administration from the University of Connecticut and a BA from Providence College.
