CT's Pitney Bowes eyes 2nd R&D site in India

Pitney Bowes Inc. is opening a second R&D center in India, a key Asian market for the Stamford document- and information-processing vendor.

Pitney Bowes chose Pune, India's eighth largest metropolis and the second biggest in the state of Maharashtra after Mumbai, due to its rich talent pool, the company said Wednesday. The site's staff complement wasn't disclosed.

Its other R&D center is in Noida, where it employs more than 600.
