Greater Hartford house sales were flat in March but their median sale price rose, Realtors say.
Single-family house sales were unchanged at 809 units last month, same as in March 2016, the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors said.
The median sale price rose 5 percent to $210,000 from $200,000 a year ago.
Condo/townhome sales last month rose 5.5 percent to 191 units vs. 181 sold in March a year ago, Realtors said. But their median sale price dipped less than 1 percent to $198,050 vs. $199,350 in March 2016.
"Falling inventory levels may finally be putting upward pressure on prices," said GHAR CEO Jeff Arakelian.
