Following the introduction of flights to three stops in Florida in April, Spirit Airlines said Thursday it will expand its operations at Bradley International Airport to include nonstop seasonal service to Fort Myers and Tampa.

The Fort Myers and Tampa flights will launch on Nov. 9, 2017, and run seasonally from November through April, the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) said.

The low-cost carrier recently launched direct service to Orlando and Myrtle Beach from Bradley in Windsor Locks. Another Fort Lauderdale flight announced in April launches today, the CAA said.

Mark Kopczak, Spirit Airlines' vice president of network planning, said the airline is "committed to bringing more ultra-low-fare options" to Bradley and offering more nonstop flights to more of the Sunshine State.
