Bradley International Airport is ranked the fifth best airport in the country, according to Condé Nast Traveler's 30th annual Readers' Choice Awards.

Making the top 10, Bradley is accompanied by top-ranked Indianapolis International Airport, second-place Portland (Ore.) International Airport and third-place Long Beach (Calif.) International Airport. Top-ten airports in the U.S. are listed here.

More than 300,000 readers submitted ratings and comments, voting on not only 195 U.S. and global airports but 7,320 hotels and resorts, 610 cities, 225 islands, 468 cruise ships, and 158 airlines, the magazine said.

Connecticut Airport Authority Executive Director Kevin A. Dillon said the ranking reflects customer satisfaction and is "a testament to our continuous growth and commitment to top-quality customer service at Bradley Airport. It motivates us to keep up the momentum and continue finding creative and innovative ways to meet and exceed our travelers' expectations."

The ranking follows another last month from JD Power, in which Bradley ranked last among its peers in customer satisfaction.

The Condé Nast Traveler's November issue, which is on newsstands nationwide on Oct. 24, will feature all of the rankings. The full list is published online.
