$7.5M loan for Cromwell Radisson

Commercial real estate lender Money360 said it closed last month on a $7.5 million bridge loan for the owner of the Radisson Hotel in Cromwell.

The hotel was acquired in 2015 by the borrower who secured the interest-only loan through a leasehold interest in the 215-room full-service hotel, said Money360, a California-based technology-enabled direct lender. Rushi Shah of Conlon Capital was the broker who brought the loan to Money360.

Formerly a Crowne Plaza, the hotel near the on-ramp of Interstate 91 opened as a Radisson in Dec. 2015 after a $1.6 million renovation, the company said.

Colonial Properties in Orange represented the buyer.
