A local investment company has purchased an 18,634-square foot industrial building in Milford for $1.08 million, brokers said.

Travco of Milford LLC sold the building at 363 Naugatuck Ave. to 363 Naugatuck Ave. LLC, which plans to lease it, said John Bergin of Pearce Real Estate, who represented both parties.

The flex/industrial space on 1.36 acres includes 238 feet of frontage on Naugatuck Avenue and has six drive-in doors, one loading dock and high ceilings.

United Rentals previously leased the building for 17 years. It has been empty since January.

Bergin said the property's sale just eight weeks after being listed was "uncharacteristically quick for an industrial property in this market."

Cheshire manufacturer buys industrial building

A Cheshire manufacturer that specializes in driveway sealers and sports surface coatings has purchased an industrial property on Realty Drive in the town for $925,000.

Dalton Enterprises, located at 131 Willow St., plans to use the 33,000-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility at 210 Realty Drive to expand its business, according to Middlebury-based Godin Property Brokers, who represented Dalton.

The building is part of an industrial condominium complex near Interstate-691, Godin said.

Drubner Commercial of Middlebury represented the seller, DRC Properties LLC.

Hamden bank building sale

The building that formerly housed Wells Fargo Bank on Whitney Avenue in Hamden sold on March 29 for $700,000, brokers said.

The 2,911-foot-building at 2427 Whitney Ave. includes a drive-through and is set on .78 acres.

Press| Cuozzo Commercial Services represented the buyer, 2427 Whitney Avenue LLC, and Saugatuck Commercial Real Estate represented the seller, Wells Fargo Bank, NA.

Milford wood products company renews lease

Rugby Holdings LLC, a distributor of architectural wood products, has renewed its lease in an industrial building at 65-145 Furniture Row in Milford, Pearce Real Estate said.

The company is leasing 11,850 square feet in the 200,000-square-foot building, owned by American General Life Insurance Company (AIG), said Pearce, which represented all parties.
