Hartford developer Martin Kenny has sold 100-unit Trumbull On The Park apartments and companion parking garage for $27.75 million to the developers converting a pair of abutting vacant office buildings into apartments.

A partnership involving New York's Girona Ventures and Wonder Works purchased the properties this week from a partnership involving Kenny, city parking czar Alan Lazowski and Connecticut investor-developer Sanford I. Cloud, Kenny said.

The apartments at 100 Trumbull St., overlooking Bushnell Park, was Kenny's first downtown redevelopment.

Girona and Wonder Works are underway with the approximately $50 million conversion of office buildings at 101 and 111 Pearl St., at the corner of Trumbull Street, acquired from Kenny and investors last May into 258 apartments to be known as Spectra On The Park.

The new owners plan, Kenny said, to convert some of Trumbull-Park's two-bedroom apartments into more desirable studio and one-bedroom units.

The parking garage, which covers 11 levels, will serve residents in all three buildings.
