Jim Furyk, Zach Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau recently committed to playing in the 2018 Travelers Championship.

Organizers of the Travelers Championship on Tuesday announced another three players will return to the 2018 tournament at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.

Jim Furyk, Zach Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau committed to playing in the June tournament, which adds to a deep player field that already includes 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed, two-time Travelers winner Bubba Watson, Rory Mcllroy, Justin Thomas and Charley Hoffman.

"It's exciting to see some of the top PGA TOUR professionals continue to commit to our tournament," Travelers Championship Tournament Director Nathan Grube said. "Jim, Zach and Bryson all bring an incredible level of talent to our field, which continues to get better year after year."

Furyk, who has placed in the top five twice, carded the tournament's scoring record in the final round of the 2016 tournament shooting a 12-under-par 58. The 47-year-old has won 17 tournaments on the PGA Tour, including the 2003 U.S. Open.

Johnson, meanwhile, is the 53rd ranked player on the tour and is a 12-time winner.

DeChambeau is in his second full season on the PGA Tour after winning the U.S. Amateur and NCAA Championship in 2015. He was the fifth player to win both tournaments in the same year, joining Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Ryan Moore.

In 2017, the PGA Tour recognized the Travelers Championship as "Tournament of the Year," "Most Fan-Friendly Event," "Best Sales" and the inaugural "Players Choice."The tournament generated more than $1.7 million for 165 charities.

The 2018 Travelers Championship will span from June 18-24.
