June 4 special election to replace Arce

A special Hartford election will take place June 4 for the 4th Assembly seat vacated by former state Rep. Angel Arce, the governor says.

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy also announced Tuesday special elections Nov. 6 to fill two current or impending probate district vacancies for probate judges: Fairfield Probate District and the North Central Probate District, covering Enfield, Somers, Stafford and Union.

Arce resigned his seat in April, amid allegations he had inappropriate cellphone exchanges with an underage female.
