U.S. women’s soccer returns to Rentschler Field

East Hartford's Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field will again host the U.S. women's national soccer team in July.

Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford will again host the U.S. women's national soccer team in a four-team international tournament in July.

The stadium is one of three venues that will host the 2018 Tournament of Nations on Sunday, July 29, hosting Australia, Brazil and Japan.

Under the tournament format, the teams will compete in three doubleheader games at three venues in an eight-day period. In Connecticut, Japan plays Brazil at 4:15 p.m. and the U.S. women will play Australia at 7 p.m.

Australia, Brazil and Japan all recently qualified for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. The U.S. women's team will play for a spot in next year's World Cup during the 2018 Concacaf Women's Championship in October.

FOX Sports will provide live coverage of the tournaments on FS1, FOXSports.com, FOX Now and FOX Sports GO apps.

Tickets are on sale on Friday, June 1 at 10 a.m. at Rentschlerfield.com or by calling 877-522-8499. Tickets will also be available at the XL Center box office on June 4 at noon.
