Hamden photo shop moving to Tommy K's Plaza

A longtime Hamden photography and photo printing business will triple its size in June when it moves to a new location on Dixwell Avenue.

Ross Imaging Center, which currently has a retail storefront at 3000 Whitney Ave., has leased 1,869 square feet in the Tommy K's Plaza, according to the Proto Group of North Haven.

The five-year lease has a $145,000 value, said the Proto Group, which brokered the deal. Other tenants in the plaza are Tommy's Tanning, Tommy's Wax Center, Fancy Nails and Common Grounds Coffee.

Mike Ross, owner of Ross Imaging, said the business spent 15 years at the Whitney Ave. location but outgrew the space.

The shop specializes in digital photo printing, custom framing, wall décor, photo restoration, photo gifts and promotional printing. He expects to open in the new building by mid-June.

Shelton vascular group lease

U.S. Vascular Management Group of Trumbull has leased 8,600 square feet of office space at International Place in Shelton, brokers said.

The 10-year lease at 6 Research Drive, a complex that formerly housed GE Disaster Services, has a value of $1.8 million, said The Proto Group, which brokered the lease.

The company is a vascular management and consulting firm owned and operated by board-certified vascular surgeons, according to its website.

The firm plans to use the space for back office operations, landlord Rob Scinto said.

West Haven aerospace supplier lease

An Orange-based manufacturer of rotating aerospace parts has leased 4,100 square feet of light industrial space in West Haven, brokers said.

Numet Machining Techniques Inc., a supplier for GE Aviation, Pratt & Whitney and the U.S. Department of Defense, plans to use the space at 40 Front Ave. to warehouse parts, according to Pearce Real Estate.

Pearce/George J. Smith Commercial Real Estate in Milford represented both Numet and the landlord, 40 Front Ave. LLC., in the transaction.
