Hartford Yard Goats to host first comedy show

Fans enter Dunkin' Donuts Park to experience one of the first games ever played at the stadium.

Dunkin' Donuts Park, home to the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats, will expand its entertainment offerings in June when it hosts its first comedy show.

The Hartford Yard Goats announced Wednesday that stand-up comedian and actor, Jimmy Dunn will headline its comedy show in the park's YG Club lounge on Tuesday, June 19, at 6:45 p.m.

Dunn recently co-starred in the CBS comedy "The McCarthys" and has also appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and Conan O'Brien's late-night show on TBS.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event.

In addition to housing the Hartford Yard Goats, a Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, Dunkin' Donuts park has also hosted UConn Baseball games, area high school baseball games, charity events and other community functions.

The Yard Goats will also host the second annual Brew Fest at Dunkin' Donuts Park on Saturday, Oct. 20.
