Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton says it opened a 90-room hotel in Rocky Hill this week.

Owned by Lotus Hospitality Inc., the Hampton by Hilton hotel at 685 Cromwell Ave. is situated near local restaurants, German consumer goods giant Henkel, WFSB-TV, the Corporate Ridge Office Park and the Dinosaur State Park.

HBJ previously reported the 58,000-square-foot hotel development would cost $7.1 million.

The contemporary hotel features a fitness center, indoor pool, snack bar and a 780-square-foot space for business meetings or family gatherings. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi are also available.

The Rocky Hill location is part of Hilton Honors, a guest-loyalty program for 14 of its hotels offering guests discounted rooms and flexible payments. Hilton Honors members are able to redeem points for free nights or Amazon purchases, or gain access to events throughout the hotel network.

Hampton by Hilton now has 15 hotels in Connecticut, including Farmington, Manchester, Enfield, Windsor, Waterbury, Mystic and Stamford, among others.

Lotus' portfolio includes Berlin's Best Western Plus, Comfort Inn in East Hartford and Quality Inn in East Haven.
