Office designer Infinity Group is moving its headquarters from Bloomfield to downtown Hartford, the company said Tuesday.

Infinity, a firm that creates and furnishes commercial workspaces, said it will bring its 18 employees to a 3,000-square-foot space at 20 Church St. by Friday.

The company works with several Fortune 500 companies located in Hartford, Central Connecticut and other outlying areas.

Clients include West Hartford-based Triumph Engine Control Systems, New York's Shelbourne Global Solutions LLC, East Hartford-based architectural engineering firm CME Associates and coworking, networking and incubator space Upward Hartford.

Heather Krug, Infinity's senior associate, said the larger space in downtown Hartford allows the company to expand its workforce in the coming year.

"We wanted to be in the middle of everything," Krug said. "Hartford is a special place to all of us and we want to help revitalize this beautiful city."
