Verico to move New Hampshire corporate office to Enfield plant

Verico Technology, which owns the former Presstek Inc.'s operation at 230 Shaker Road, is moving its corporate offices from Nashua, New Hampshire, to Enfield, company officials said Friday.

Verico, which makes "waterless printing" equipment and related coatings, said the move is planned "to accommodate growth."

Spokeswoman Monika Collins said Verico has operated in Enfield since 2016. The company employs 31 people at the plant and corporate offices, Collins said, and has an international office in Germany.

Verico also operates a plant in the Rockville section of Vernon, as a result of the company's 2016 acquisition of Anocoil Corp.'s 60 E. Main St. facility.

Mayor Michael Ludwick said the move is a sign that the town is doing the right things to attract economic development.

"We have a great town, with a great location, and we have a work force of hard-working people," he said.

In its announcement, Verico said the company recently renovated the 125,000-square-foot plant at 230 Shaker Road

"This is a great location, and I'm thrilled that recent renovations allowed us to bring all departments together," CEO Yuval Dubois said.

The facility will become home to marketing, sales, research and development, customer service, and manufacturing, Dubois said. The move "coincides with expansion in manufacturing capabilities," he said, resulting from installation of an additional coating production line.

It also includes a "full research and development laboratory" that provides "comprehensive support for customer developments," Dubois said.

Verico acquired Presstek's printing plates operations, including its Enfield and Vernon plants, in March.
