What's been the biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?

I would say my biggest professional accomplishment has been gaining the trust of my co-workers. The reason I say that is because I am a 26-year-old operations manager leading a company of 48 people and many of them happen to be much older than I am. Don't get me wrong, being an ops manager is a great accomplishment but it's greater knowing that people will follow and trust in my decisions and guidance.

How are you involved in the community?

I am involved in the community through my work. I take pride in helping my co-workers grow at Lynn Welding as well as helping them grow personally. I believe that by guiding them to achieve success and being the best person they can be will be a great contribution to our community

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love hiking, photography, going to the beach, watching the "Fast and Furious" movies and test driving new cars.

Give an example of a people-skills habit you adhere to in your work and daily life that you feel has helped you succeed.

Approach people with kindness; anger never solves anything. Facing problems and solving them instead of avoiding them.

What must the Greater Hartford region do to attract more talented young professionals to the area?

Reduce taxes and invest in education in manufacturing by partnering with local businesses to help build the next-generation workforce.

Four reasons why you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty:

• Operations manager of a 48-employee company at age 26.

• One of the youngest members on the American Welding Society committee.

• Gained the trust of everyone at Lynn Welding through my hard work and accomplishments.

• Helped co-workers grow more than they ever thought they could by guiding them with my principles.

Fun Fact

I love washing my car on a sunny day.
