Charla Stetson is the new CEO of Windsor Locks Federal Credit Union.

Windsor Locks Federal Credit Union (WLFCU) named a pair of executive insiders to lead the member-owned credit cooperative whose previous chief executive officer retired recently.

Charla Stetson, previously vice president of operations and member services, is the new CEO of the $59 million-asset institution, WLFCU announced Thursday.

Patricia Javorski, who spent 11 years in its accounting department, was named chief operating officer.

Both appointments come on the heels of the retirement after 12 years of its former president and CEO, John E. Franco Jr.

Stetson joined WLFCU in 2011. She is a graduate of Asnuntuck Community College and continues to study at New England College of Business and Finance. Stetson is also a graduate of the executive education program from the Credit Union League of Connecticut, a statewide association.

Javorski has spent more than 30 years in financial services experience, working for banks in various operations roles. Javorski earned her bachelor's degree from Springfield College. She has studied at EasCorp ALM and Investment Academy and the Credit Union National Association's Investment School. Javorski is currently working on completing the Credit Union League's executive education program.
