The town of West Hartford has teamed with the state's key promoter of small-business development to open a service-center office in Town Hall.

The Connecticut Small Business Development Center (CTSBDC), which provides existing/aspiring entrepreneurs with access to operational and financial resources, occupies Room 407 in Town Hall, 50 S. Main St., officials said.

Locating the office in Town Hall, also provides local businesses "one-stop" access to the town's economic development, planning and zoning and other relevant departments, Mayor Shari Cantor said.

Initially, the office hours are by appointment only on Thursdays, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

For more information, visit CTSBDC's website or call (860) 576-5135.
