The first Massachusetts location for South Windsor's Between Rounds Bakery Sandwich Cafe has debuted.

The franchisor's latest walk-in, drive-thru cafe is housed in the Notch Travel Centre, 326 College Highway, in Southwick, in western Massachusetts, about three miles from Granby, officials said Wednesday.

Franchisees Diane and Craig Samuelson operate Notch Travel Centre.

This and Between Rounds' four other fast-casual dining establishments in Manchester, South Windsor, Tolland and Vernon offer bagels, baked goods, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups and specialty coffees.

The family-owned business was co-founded by brothers Jerry and Joe Puiia, of Staten Island, N.Y., in 1990. Their first store in Vernon was initially called The Bagel Shop until they changed the name to Between Rounds in 1993.
