Cupid's Chase 5K Run takes place in 25 cities across 10 states on the same day and same time, making it the largest charity 5K in the United States. Cupid's Chase is expecting over 10,000 participants from all across the country. Cupid's Chase benefits Community Options, a national nonprofit that has been developing homes and employment for people with disabilities since 1989.

Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will give a brief welcome speech prior to the run start at 10am.

CONCORA, Connecticut’s premier professional choir, will present a concert titled “CONCORA in Love” on Sunday, February 12, 4:00 PM, at South Church in New Britain.

The program includes motets, madrigals, and choral dances with love-themed texts and settings, ranging from the Song of Solomon to the latest from American composers. Two dancers from Allongé Dance Variations, Carolyn Cumming and Andrew Matte, will add beautiful romantic dances to complement CONCORA’s voices. A chocolate-laced reception will follow the performance.
