The Hartford taps Magee as London chief

The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. named Christopher Magee as managing director of its international corporate underwriting operation based in London.

Hartford Financial Products International Ltd. underwrites corporate management liability insurance for multi-national commercial entities and financial institutions.

Magee reports to Michael Dandini, senior vice president of Hartford Financial Products. Magee succeeds Stephen Minihan, who is retiring from The Hartford after nearly 20 years.

Magee joined The Hartford in 2003 and has served as chief underwriting officer for HFPI since the London office opened in 2007.

Magee will oversee all underwriting, administrative, finance, legal and regulatory functions of the operation.
