Joseph J. Greco, Chairman, Connecticut Bankers Association

12/10/09

In his new role, the president and CEO of The First National Bank of Litchfield will be the spokesman for the CBA, which promotes legislative and regulatory actions at the state and federal level that benefit the general welfare of Connecticut banks.

"Never has it been more important that we make our voices heard," said Greco, who accepted his CBA post in November. "The time has come for a major grassroots effort by all involved in Connecticut banking to ensure that our message is heard."

Greco began his banking and finance career over 30 years ago and has served as a CEO of three community banks. Prior to joining First National Bank of Litchfield in 2002, he served as president and CEO of Pennsylvania-based Corporate Marketing Solutions.

Greco has also served as senior vice president and regional president of New Jersey-based Hudson United Bank, and as president and CEO of Jefferson National Bank.

Greco holds a BA from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Hartford. He resides in Litchfield with his wife, Lori, and two children.
