CT, PA benefit planners link up

Benefit Planning Services LLC, of Norwalk announced Friday a partnership with Net Pay Payroll Services LLC, a national payroll service company in Harrisburg, Pa.

Ruben Nogueira, co-partner of Benefit Planning Services, said he sought a payroll partner to diversify his business in the face of a changing healthcare market.

The relationship will allow the 30-year-old Connecticut firm to expand its geographic reach and become "a full service company that can handle all business needs from health insurance to payroll," Nogueira said.

Benefit Planning Services' clients include Diocese of Bridgeport, Ring's End Lumbar, Patriot National Bank and Norwalk Chamber of Commerce.

It expects to add business as it connects with the more than 500 companies that use Net Pay Payroll Services, an eight-year-old company that bills itself as the leading piece rate payroll provider in the country.

"Net Pay Payroll Service's technology allows the client to streamline the payroll process and make it as user-friendly as possible," said Mike Sutton, co-partner of Benefit Planning Services.
