A bill allowing state agencies to arrange telecommuting options with workers has been signed into law Tuesday.
Gov. M. Jodi Rell signed the measure that state labor unions promoted heavily as a way to raise productivity, save fuel and curb emissions.
Connecticut joins other states and the federal government in adopting a telecommuting policy, union officials said Tuesday.
