New Milford Hospital taps Weymouth as executive director

Deborah Weymouth, a senior health care executive from New York, has been tapped by New Milford Hospital's new senior vice president of operations and executive director.

Weymouth replaces Richard Henley, who recently stepped down from his position as interim CEO of New Milford Hospital.

Henley helped oversee the hospitals recent affiliation with Danbury Hospital, which has led to the creation of the new Western Connecticut Healthcare system.

Weymouth comes from Thompson Health in Canandaigua, New York, a 400 bed, six-member non-profit corporation, where she served in various senior positions since 1995, including most recently as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the hospital.

Weymouth will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of New Milford Hospital.
