CI invests $245K in Premise Corp.

Rocky Hill-based Connecticut Innovations has invested $244,800 in Premise Corp. of Farmington as part of a $2 million extension of the Series B round also involving Aetna Ventures, Milestone Venture Partners, Inflection Point Ventures and other investors.

Premise Corp. is a health care IT company offering patient flow and bed management software.

"Premise continues to successfully demonstrate its technology, expand its patent portfolio and add new customers," Peter Longo, president and executive director of CI, said in a statement. "We are delighted to play a role in helping this innovative Connecticut company build on its momentum and offer solutions to an ever-expanding list of ‘blue chip' health care providers."
