The $162 million Connecticut Science Center, which features over 150 interactive exhibits, 10 galleries and a 206-seat 3-D movie theater, opened its doors in June. Designed by renowned architect Cesar Pelli & Associates of New Haven, the 154,000- square-foot landmark features a “magic carpet roof” and multi-story walls of glass that provide sweeping views of Hartford’s skyline and the Connecticut River Valley.
